Dr. Michael Ferri, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Michael Ferri has more than two decades of experience working with patients who struggle with addiction. He is board certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine, and Medical Director of two highly regarded residential treatment programs. He has published research on addiction treatment and is a regular teacher and contributor in the addiction treatment community. In 2017 he launched the InSight Recovery & Wellness program to offer a holistic approach to addiction treatment in the community setting.

Jaanki Bhakta, FNP-BC

Family Nurse Practitioner

Jaanki Bhakta received her nursing degree from the University of Oklahoma. She moved to Nashville to attend graduate school at Belmont University, where she received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2020. While studying to be a Family Nurse Practitioner, Jaanki worked as a Registered Nurse at an inpatient recovery center for 3 years. There she developed knowledge and experience on addiction medicine. Jaanki currently resides in Murfreesboro, TN with her husband. She enjoys football, trying new foods and spending time with family and friends.

Cayla Busuito, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Cayla Busuito received her bachelor’s degree from Bethel University and went straight to Nashville to begin working as a nurse at Vanderbilt. Her passion is within mental health and for multiple years she worked in Vanderbilt’s Psychiatric Hospital and Emergency Department. She received a Master’s Degree through Vanderbilt University. She loves exploring the city of Nashville and the surrounding areas. Her hobbies include enjoying time near any body of water and caring for her fur baby, Hendrix. She looks forward to meeting and providing the best care possible to all of her clients.

Sam Burress, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Sam Burress received his Bachelor’s degree from Martin Methodist College in 2015. Sam has a background in Intensive Care and Emergency nursing, but quickly realized that his true passion was in psychiatric nursing. He worked in Centennial’s inpatient psychiatric hospital in various bedside and administrative roles for 6 years prior to attending Middle Tennessee State University to obtain a Master’s degree and PMHNP certification. He strives to provide excellent and compassionate care to all of his clients.

Beth Davis, ACNP-BC

Nurse Practitioner

Beth Davis completed her BSN at MTSU in 2000. She worked as a RN in multiple specialties for 7 years before completing her MSN at University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2007. She is board certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She worked in Internal Medicine for 12+ years before starting in Addiction Medicine in late 2020. Beth lives in Murfreesboro with her cat Sophie “Floof”. She enjoys travel, reading, time with those that are loved, and anything in a warm climate.

Warren Henderson, MBA

Business Director

Warren Henderson is a 10-year veteran in the US Army. He served overseas in Afghanistan in 2012 and South Korea in 2017. After leaving the Army in 2019, he recieved his MBA at Boston College and worked for Johnson & Johnson Procurement for two years before joining the InSight team in the summer of 2022. Warren and his family moved halfway across the country to support an amazing team, working hard on one of the most difficult challenges in healthcare; he empathizes deeply with those seeking help in improving their lives.

Meghan Magaldi

Patient Care Coordinator

Meghan received her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio. After graduating, Meghan began working in the wellness field, namely in mental health and addiction recovery. Passionate about making people feel heard and welcomed, Meghan believes that asking for help is a powerful and vulnerable moment, one that deserves utmost care and concern from those listening. Outside of work, Meghan enjoys spending time with her husband and their 2-year-old-son, attending Orange Theory Fitness classes, and drinking coffee.

Carla Porter, LPC

Therapist

Carla Porter has worked in healthcare industries for over a decade. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in biology from Lipscomb University in 2011, and later completed a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with specialized training in addiction. Carla joined the InSight team in 2022.

Her approach to counseling embodies a strong connection between patient and therapist, and she considers it a privilege to hear patients’ stories. Whether patients are dealing with mental illness or difficult life circumstances, Carla endeavors to remind them of their own ability to practice resilience and to achieve lasting change.

Grace Rebarchak, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Grace was born and raised in Mobile, AL. She moved to Nashville in 2017 to pursue a nursing career at Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital. During that time, she had the opportunity to serve patients from all ages with various mental illnesses. She is passionate about advocating for her patients, getting to the root of the issue, and forming a treatment plan with a holistic approach. Grace wants her patients to feel seen and heard and believes that mental health is connecting the mind, body, and spirit. In her free time, she enjoys taking walks, cooking, trying new restaurants, and traveling to see family and friends.

Travis Speier

Therapist (Referral Partner)

Travis is an executive for a company based here in Nashville. He and his wife, Stephanie, moved here over 10 years ago. They are blessed to now have 4 children, with their youngest still in diapers. As an undergraduate he studied Philosophy and recently completed a Masters in Counseling from Divine Mercy University. He completed his internship at a drug and alcohol treatment center in Brentwood and looks forward to getting to know you.

Travis is passionate about walking the journey of growth and healing with others. He cherishes the privilege of holding space for his clients and is eager to accompany individuals, couples, and families along their way towards wellbeing and wholeness. Travis has an integrative clinical approach, employing evidence-based modalities, and envisions the counseling pursuit as collaborative—the therapeutic alliance. People come to counseling for various reasons. Whatever inspired the yearning to connect, Travis is happy you are here and looks forward to getting to exploring the fullness of life with deep purpose and rich meaning.

Dr. Davis “Mac” Stephen, DO

Addiction Medicine Specialist

Dr. Davis “Mac” Stephen is a board-certified internal medicine physician and recently completed his Addiction Medicine Fellowship at Harvard Medical School based out of Brigham & Women’s Hospital. He sees patients at Ascension St. Thomas West and Midtown as a hospitalist where he also serves as an inpatient addiction medicine consultant. He is the Medical Director at Nashville Treatment Solutions and is excited to work with Insight Recovery & Wellness to build a comprehensive, low-barrier treatment program to serve patients across all levels of care and at whatever stage of recovery they may be.

Dr. Seth Thompson, MD

Psychiatrist

Dr. Seth Thompson is a board-certified psychiatrist with an expertise in Mood Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and Addictive Medicine. He completed his medical residency training at East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine where he had the opportunity to train with a diverse population of both providers and patients. His passion is bringing healing to those who have been through a traumatic/stressful experience, those struggling with mental health disorders, and/or those struggling with addiction whether it be to food or other substances. He works with his patients to find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as a peaceful, complete, whole, and safe self.

Jessica Villar

Patient Care Coordinator

Jessica Villar was born and raised in Wichita, KS. She moved to TN in 1999 and graduated from Columbia State in 2017 with 2 Associates Degrees. She worked at Rolling Hills hospital for 12 years and has worked with Dr. Ferri as an MAT coordinator for 10 years. She also works at The Next Door as the MAT coordinator. She loves listening to country music, especially George Strait.

Paul Wizniuk

Practice Manager

Paul has over 7 years’ experience in small business and human resources management. He is Society for Human Resource Management certified. He is obsessed with great customer service and helping operations run smoothly. When you call into the office, you will most likely speak with him and he will do his best to get you where you need to go. He is originally from Michigan and longs for the one or two days of sweet snow here in Tennessee. He also enjoys long stroller walks with his wife and three young children. If you need a nice hot cup of coffee or tea when you are at the office, ask for Paul.

Bry York, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Bry York was born and raised in Nashville, TN. She graduated from Aquinas College with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, and later obtained her BSN through Austin Peay State University. She worked as an RN at Rolling Hills Hospital, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, for over 7 years, and The Next Door, an addiction treatment center for women, for 2 years. While continuing to work as an RN, she earned a PMHNP and graduated from Drexel University with a Master’s in Nursing.
